On the Town: New Mexico History Museum Reveals Treasures to Santa Fe Opera Guild Members

The Santa Fe Opera Guild kicks off the new On the Town series with a visit to the New Mexico History Museum. On the Town is designed to bridge cultural organizations in our community with innovative offerings.

On Tuesday, November 14, we’ll gather at 1:45 pm in the lobby of the New Mexico History Museum.

We’ll depart at 2:00 pm for our 45-minute docent-led tours followed by refreshments. We’ll hear brief remarks from Executive Director Billy Garrett about future exhibitions at the New Mexico History Museum and plans for the Palace of the Governors. You’ll have a chance to learn fun facts about the intersection of history and opera. Afterwards members can participant in self-guided tours through the exhibits until the museum’s closing at 5:00 pm.

This event is open to Santa Fe Opera Guild members only. It is complimentary, but registration is required.

Guests can park at metered parking on Lincoln Street, or in the Santa Fe Community Convention Center Garage located at 119 S Federal Place.
