  • First Presbyterian Church 208 Grant Ave, Santa Fe (map)

Baritone Andrew Paulson

Operatic baritone Andrew Paulson has performed with numerous companies including Opera Southwest, Virginia Opera, Opera Anchorage, and Opera Maine as well as the Utah Symphony, Virginia Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, and Tallahassee Symphony. Paulson and Bentley will perform three groups of songs from the first decade of the twentieth century. The complete Kindertotenlieder song cycle, originally written for baritone and orchestra, is one of Marhler's most intimate vocal compositions. Francis Poulenc's Calligrammes song cycle by is based on poems by Guillaume Appolinaire. A final collection of three songs is by Francesco Paolo Tosti, a prolific and popular composer of the classical Italian repertoire.
