The Wagner Society of Santa Fe invites you to attend:

For the Love of Opera Concert Series, Recital No. 5 

“Lost and Found:  Life, Love, Faith”

All reservation requests will be acknowledged with either a confirmation or a notification that you are on a wait-list.

The recital will be videotaped for release later on the Wagner Society of Santa Fe YouTube channel.  By attending, you are giving us permission to use your image at our discretion in the video.

Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. for general seating.

“Das Trinklied vom Jammer der Erde” (Drinking Song of the Earth's Sorrow) from Das Lied von der Erde (Song of the Earth) by Gustav Mahler (1860 – 1911)

“Pourquoi me reveiller?” (Why Do You Awaken Me?) from the opera Werther by Jules Massenet (1842 – 1912) 

“Kuda, kuda vï udalilis” (Where Have You Gone?) from the opera Eugene Onegin by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840 – 1893)

“Dein ist mein ganzes Herz!” (Yours Alone Is My Heart!) from the operetta Das Land des Lächelns (The Land of Smiles) by Franz Lehár (1870 – 1948) 

“Gralserzählung” (The Tale of the Grail) from the opera Lohengrin by Richard Wagner (1813 – 1883) 

Joshua Dennis has sung with the Santa Fe Opera in leading and supporting roles since his first summer there in 2012. Now residing in Santa Fe with his family, he continues singing leading roles around the country and internationally. Robert Tweten holds positions of Head of Music Staff at the Santa Fe Opera and Music Director of Opera Studies for New England Conservatory and maintains a busy performance schedule as both a conductor and pianist.
